This is the only real store chinese food store in Winnipeg. Best products but many time expired. Must carefully check every item. I highly recommend but also with reservation. Hence the tree stars. Authentic Asian restaurants do all their shopping here. However selling food that isn’t dated and other items that are a year past due date. Bought a Thai curry paste that was a year since it’s best before. Yuck. I do return. I really enjoy the fresh stuffed buns. Usually Sunday is fresh and hot deliveries.
Staff were nice and friendly. Their snacks are really good. I always make sure to get bbq duck from the other stall. Great place

Great staff,lots of selection of food especially snacks. The store is clean and tidy. The shelves are stocked and neat. The produce is fresh. I hope they get dairy milk in more.
Sun Wah is my go to for quick and stress free Asian foods shopping. I always make sure to stop by the BBQ shop to grab some duck. The butcher is very accommodating and friendly!
As far as the groceries go, I believe they’ll have everything besides very special regional items. I found Sichuan green and red peppercorns in a size that I liked, for about ~$13/kg in small convenient containers.
They have all kinds of imports from drinks like coconut milk to green herbal tea, then there are products that I can't read because it only written in korean-japanese chinese so when you do buy it it's kind of a surprise what it actually is mostly it's good but sometimes it's not really appetizing, but all around its a pretty good place to go to.
I really enjoy the variety of products this store offers. I always find something interesting and unexpected

They had exactly what I was looking for, Umeboshi. Also had a great selection of veg and dry goods.
